It is with much long-awaited anticipation and excitement that I reveal to you: Riva.

I produced, co-wrote, and starred in this short. Shot and edited in just 7 days, Riva has won 15 awards from 26 nominations since its premiere at the 168 Film Festival in Los Angeles.

Riva was based on Mark 5:34:

"And he said to her, 'Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.'"

I had such an amazing week in Florida filming a short with this amazing crew.

Riva won Best Faith-Based Short at this year's Burbank International Film Festival.

I am so grateful for the opportunity I had to create this impactful film. It is an honor to share it with others!

I felt it "news" worthy to announce that on April 23, 2016 I married the love of my life and best friend, Clay. I couldn't be happier for the journey and all that lies ahead.

This short film that was my first starring role and first experience producing has finally been released for viewing. I hope you will enjoy "Harper Abbott."

What an amazingly talented director. Shane was like a kid in a candy store on set, so passionate and never without a smile on his face. I sincerely hope I get to work with him again in the future. You can read more about my experience from the audition process to set on my blog and see additional photos on my Facebook page!

Some of my favorite stills from Harper Abbott. What a wonderful script to bring to life and sweet character to get to play.

I can relate to Harper's struggle in finding her way to share her art with the world. Whatever it is you want to share with the world, to contribute, stick with it, fight the good fight, have faith.

You never know what path lies ahead... and who you may influence along the way.

Pursuing your passion may not always look like you thought it would... but sometimes it just might be better.

I will be flying to Dallas for the March 7 premiere of Harper Abbott, a short film directed by the talented Chris Wiegand.  Stay tuned for more news about the film!

Filming on the set of Harper Abbott! Can I please be on set every day?

I had such a wonderful experience on the set of Criminal Minds. This is such a well-run show. The entire cast and crew are pros to say the least.

I had a pretty emotional scene to shoot, but everyone on set, especially director, Rob Hardy, made me feel so at ease. What a great national television debut experience. I can't wait to do it again soon.

You may read more about my experience on my blog: Criminal Minds: part 1 and Criminal Minds: part 2.

I will be on Criminal Minds Wednesday, February 27 at 9/8c on CBS! Watch?
